Update from Afaganistan:
Great looking day! No clouds, no wind, not hot or cold what more can you ask for? Well it does look like a sand storm from the north east but of well.
Inns got mad when i elbow dropped him while he was sleeping. Bastard elbow dropped me back this morning when we got in.
As you can see me and the guys have got a little bit of down time going on right now. So what to do what to do? I'm going to go grab chow, see if I got any mail then get some well needed sleep
yes lovng the mud and rocks! im starting to see more green things here though!
oh i found out the place where we are at used to be just covered in trees because of the altitude they were able to grow or something. but when the commies were here they choped them all down! thats a nice big clump of trees!
anyway im off to elbow drop a buddy of mine who decided to take a nap instead of trying to use the phone or something during our like 3 hours of downtime
oh look its hot! oh wait not any more. look its nice and clear! ugh here comes the dust/rain! sometimes i worry about a place whos weather can go from extreme nasty to extreme nasty. as my buddy Inns would say this place is "hooah". all i should really have to say is 2 months down who knows how many more to go! anyway "fury from the sky" afganistan

oh i saw my first plant today!!!! it was a little thing with a single green leaf. still doesnt make this place cool though. and still no explination why anyone would live here. although now i understand why some of them hate us.
the have to live in a horible fucking place while we have a great fertile country where the women show more then their eye balls. id be pissed at us to if i had to live here.
Heres the translation of yesturday. we were messing around on the lz playing football. and if you know afganistan youll know its nothing but rocks. so i took a dive into the "endzone". my platoon daddy sent me to get my cuts cleaned out and the gravel taken out. so doc cleaned them out, then took a knife to them to pick the gravel and rocks out. my hands elbow hip and back all needed to be like that. then i raided doc's box he got in the mail and took a piece of candy. it waas a good laugh.

had the memorial service for the 16 guys who died. It was a nice service even though Dan got the last laugh. He had requested to be buryed with his sword. Also that rock mujsic be played and also the bag pipes. So we had one song of Rammistein. and then at the end they played Amazing grace on the bag pipes. The service was out side so i was able to wear my wiley's so i could give aaron some wisable strength when he got up to speak about freeman. HEHEHE i had to dump out my wileys twice though because i had filled them up. when its time for R&R me and mike are going to have a grand old time depending on how long our lay over is!
anyway im going back to doing what i do in af-crack-is-stank(afganistan)

oh yeah what a day let me tell you.
i recieved a box from amazon today that i had ordered. it was a $189 box with nothing in it except the box of what i ordered. so picture how me and the guys felt after ordering this for our room and when it finaly got here it had been "repacked to prevent damage" is what the packing tape had on the bottom of the box. so the person who had "repacked" it was nice enough to cut the seal off the ps2 bundel deal that we had bought, removed all the items, and then put the ps2 box back in the amazon box empty. talk about a GREAT way to distroy troop moral! we paid 189.97 +shipping and handling for an empty box. but thats ok the order is being tracked now, and it wont be a pretty picture when the people responsible for removing our stuff from the box is found.
anyway thats enough angry venting from me. later
